Susan Rivers, younger sister of Alan Rivers, has worked in the field of classical music for over 45 years.  Starting off in the recording industry, she moved on to artist management, concert promotion, orchestral touring and negotiating sponsorship deals.  She also ran the British Association of Concert Agents (now the International Artists’ Managers Association) for five years.  Her current role is Chief Executive of the Borletti-Buitoni Trust, a charity which supports internationally emerging talent in their twenties and thirties with a wide range of projects that will advance their careers.

Whilst always being involved in classical music she also had her own bespoke catering business for 17 years.   Like her brother, she has always had an interest in assisting those less fortunate than herself and was a prison visitor at the Feltham Young Offenders Institution for five years, an experience which enlightened her as well as hopefully being of help to the young inmates she was charged to befriend.
