Multi-Story is a project that brings classical music to unexpected places, run by composer Kate Whitley and conductor Christopher Stark. It began in 2011 with a performance of Stravinsky’s The Rite of Spring for 100 musicians in a Car Park in Peckham Rye, London. The Multi-Story Orchestra plays in the Car Park every summer as well as touring schools, playing in night clubs, and running choir and education projects across the country.
