IMG_0876Uniãde Mulheres Pró Melhoramento da Roupa Suja supports the promotion of social inclusion for female residents of the Roupa Suja neighbourhood of Rocinha in Brazil, through education and vocational training. Rocinha is one of the largest favelas in South America and is home to more than 250,000 residents who are extremely proud of where they live.  Inequality, however, is a huge challenge and the ‘Womens Unit for the Betterment of Roupa Suja’ helps work towards bridging that gap by helping some of the most destitute of its female residents.
